Projects and experiments
Francisco makes it effortless to search and add SF Symbols into your Sketch document.
Made in collaboration with Kevin GutowskiGithub
A plugin that adds subtle tweaks to the Sketch UI. Things like indent guides in the layers list, the ability to add color tags on layers, a button to collapse all groups, etc. Tweaks is a spinoff from the Midnight plugin, which included some of the same features under its Advanced Features section.Github
Spacer is a plugin that lets you set a baseline for your Sketch document, then automates adding/adjusting spacing between layers in multiples of the baseline value.Gumroad
Selective Upload lets users exclude artboards or entire pages when uploading a document to Sketch Cloud. Useful for sending clients a cloud link with just the artboards they need to see.Github
Minimap makes it easy to navigate large Sketch pages with many artboards. This is similar to the Navigator in Illustrator and Photoshop.Github
Notarizing Assistant is a utility Sketch plugin to help plugin developers notarize their own plugins.
It's always fun, and a mater of pride, to build your own tools which then help you build your actual products.
Artboard Notes lets you add notes to Artboards and Symbols directly within the Sketch interface.Github
Toolbar Item is a package used by other plugin developers. It is used to add plugin actions to the Sketch toolbar.
If your favorite plugin has this feature, it's probably using this package.
Lippy is an interactive lorem-ipsum generator for Sketch. I absolutely loved working on the experimental interactions in Lippy, making it one of my personal favorite plugins.

Export TIFF is a utility plugin that helps you export Sketch layers with multiple resolutions combined into single TIFF image files. I use this mostly when creating image assets for Mac and iOS apps.Github
The Midnight plugin brought a dark theme option to Sketch long before it was natively supported. My contributions were the additional features - indent guides, layer tags, and the infamous Collapse All Groups button in the sidebar.

Exportable added the ability to create and save Export Presets, which could then be applied to layers and artboards with a single click.
You can now do this in Sketch itself via the Presets tab in Sketch > Preferences.
Runner was born at a hackathon, as a plugin that helped run commands from the keyboard. It is now a bundle of features to help designers work ultra fast.
Many of those features are now native to Sketch, making Runner my most sherlocked plugin.

SilverFlows was my idea of how prototyping should work within a design tool. It later became Craft Prototype after being acquired by InVision.
Silver remains my most ambitious personal project yet!

Sketch Headers is a repository of Obj-C headers exported from Sketch. It is referenced by plugin developers to build and update their plugins. The best part: the process of exporting headers is automated using Github Actions! This means that whenever a Sketch update is released, the headers are exported automatically to Github without any manual input.Github
Base Align added the ability to align text layers by their baseline rather than their bounding box. This feature is now natively available in Sketch as you drag text layers around.Github
Xport was a plugin for designers who code using Xcode. It provided a one-click solution to export assets directly from Sketch to Xcode's Asset Catalog. This plugin is no longer maintained.

Sketchy Pies is a simple plugin to help create pie charts from minimal data and colors.

UserFlows helps you create links between Sketch artboards and export them as flow diagrams to share or discuss with your team. UserFlows continues to be used and loved by folks everywhere.Website
Sketch Squares let you load photos from Instagram directly to your Sketch canvas. Unfortunately Instagram changed their policy and disallowed loading photos this way, thereby killing this project.
Now you can use the Sketch Data feature instead to load images from Unsplash!
